History
The City of Pisa, as we know it today, is the result of many global influences that affected the world, World War II took its toll on the city, damaging many of the famous buildings and historic places. However, both residents of the City of Pisa and Italy itself have beautifully restored Pisa to a state that is modern and functional, as well as historic.The City of Pisa was first settled in a region of Italy that was uninhabited at the time. Italy was not around then so they were apart of the roman settlement. In 180 BC Pisa was actually called Portus Pisanus, a Roman colony.
Significance
The leaning tower of Pisa weighs around 14,500 tonnes, Although it took quite a long time for construction to be completed, the official estimated weight of the tower is just shy of 14,500 tonnes. The tower of Pisa The leaning tower of Pisa is a cultural icon that symbolizes the human ability to sometimes almost defy nature. It amazes many people that the tower has not given in to the law of gravity, although it is in danger if it collapse. The leaning tower of Pisa leans by accident, not by design

The leaning tower of Pisa is now apart of the city of Pisa. It was once just a bell tower for the city of Pisa's cathedral and now it is a world's famous attraction. The roman design of building makes it look beautiful.

The tower of Pisa has lots of beauty, history and significance. I think everyone should go there since it is so great but people.
