Volunteer for Junior Achievement Day at Suwanee
Junior Achievement Day is a half day event that incorporates 5 interactive lessons taught by volunteers on financial literacy, career readiness and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit.
The classroom teacher will be with you the entire time. Volunteers will have the opportunity to receive training once every position is filled. Please note that volunteers will be assigned on a first come first served basis which means you may or may not be in your child’s classroom.
Please consider volunteering to lead a lesson on one of our Junior Achievement Days.
5th grade will be on Thursday, April 26th and K – 4th grades will be Friday, April 27th. The program will run from 8:30 until 12:30 on both days.
Please email your student’s teacher or Dr. Nix to volunteer.

Safety and Security
All schools have safety and security plans. The plans are designed with the help of school security and support staff members, as well as local law enforcement, emergency management, and public health officials. Plans are reviewed and updated regularly. These plans include procedures to respond to critical incidents such as tornados, medical emergencies and criminal acts. All staff members are trained on procedures to handle issues related to safety and security.
