News and Events You Can Use

November is full of opportunities for Ridgeview families. Hands on Ridgeview is this Sunday and we would love to see as many families as possible. As a reminder, Tuesday is a Remote Learning Day. More information is listed below, as well as many other events.

Hands On Ridgeview is this Sunday!

Hands On Ridgeview will be Sunday, Nov 6 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Expect a day filled with projects to beautify RCMS school grounds. Bring the whole family and enjoy a beautiful fall day, helping create new outdoor learning and recreation spaces, sprucing landscaping and enhancing our outside areas. Get volunteer hour credit for your clubs & organizations. Sign up to volunteer here!

Remote Learning Day is Nov. 8

Due to statewide elections and schools being used as polling places, students will have a remote learning day (no in-person school) on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Teachers will provide students asynchronous work by Monday, Nov. 7. There will not be live instruction or live class meetings.


$5 Non-Uniform Day: Wednesday, Nov. 9

For $5 cash students not only contribute to our PTA & Foundation, but also they can wear non-uniform attire. Our non-uniform dress guidelines are described here. This will be a monthly opportunity to support PTA & Foundation and for students to dress down. Otherwise, normal uniform applies.


Prospective Parent Tour: Nov. 15

Ridgeview offers prospective parent tours monthly for parents (and students welcome!). The next offering is Nov. 15 at 12:45. Please visit our prospective parent tour page for more info and to RSVP.

Technology Night: Parent Skills for Student Success

All parents and families are invited to tune in virtually for this informative presentation on Nov. 15 at 5:30 p.m. Learn about the most critical technology applications and how to use them effortlessly. This presentation is VIRTUAL. Please see below for more information.

Community Open House on Nov. 16

The School Governance Council committee focused on continuing to Enhance the Image of Ridgeview will host a Community Open House for the target audience of neighbors, realtors, local business professionals, and prospective private school families. Please help us spread the word through the below flier with a QR code to RSVP and find out more.

Be the Voice: Thanksgiving Food Drive for Solidarity Sandy Springs

Ridgeview is currently hosting a food drive for Solidarity Sandy Springs with the goal of 1,200 food items. If every student brings in one item, we will meet our goal!

FCS Family Engagement Month

November is National Family Engagement Month. Join us for "Family Matters," an exciting event celebrating FCS families and their role in the education and well-being of their students. There will be interactive workshops, hands-on activities, vendors, entertainment, giveaways, food and a few special guests! Tickets are required per person for entry. Families may attend one or all events at four locations from November 14 through November 17. Please RSVP by November 1.
