SBNJ Helps SBNC- Community Donation Day
As Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael have wreaked havoc on the south, one of the communities hit hardest was North Carolina’s very own South Brunswick. The SBHS Student Council has set up a "Community Donation Day" where members of our South Brunswick community can go to the high school to drop off the items SBNC is in need of. The Donation Drop off day is Thursday, October 25th from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the SBHS main entrance.
Items SBNC is in need of:
- Walmart Gift Cards (this is the top needed item)
- Baby supplies
- Personal hygiene items
- Nonperishable food items.
- School Supplies
- Water
- Cash and check donations are also being collected (please make all checks payable to South Brunswick High School).
Only NEW and UNUSED items may be donated.
Any questions, please contact Student Council Advisor, Harlee Olsen (harlee.olsen@sbschools.org or x3315)

THERE IS STILL TIME TO REGISTER FOR THE UPCOMING PARENT ACADEMY WORKSHOP - OCTOBER 24TH
The 2018-19 SB Parent Academy workshop series continues on Wednesday, October 24th at Crossroads North Middle School at 7:00 p.m. with: Communicating With Your Child’s Teacher: Bringing the Parent/Teacher Conference Into the 21st Century.
In the South Brunswick School District, parent-teacher conference time has served as one of the hallmarks of our home-school connection for decades. Now, with the increase of online software and information systems, like Genesis, we are able to exchange data more frequently and easily with parents over the course of the school year, changing the way we partner with parents. Join them for an interactive workshop as they explore the benefits of the various information systems and how best to incorporate them into your home-school communication and help your child succeed. Please click here for additional information.
