This Week in Online Learning....
Assignments for the Week of March 25-29
Health and Speech Assignments:
Speech: Chapter 9 vocabulary; Chapter 9 guide; IF YOU DID NOT GIVE YOUR FIRST SPEECH BEFORE I LEFT, YOU MUST DELIVER THAT SPEECH THIS WEEK!
You can't always go by the scale!
Of course, this is said as your background is filled with chocolate Easter eggs! However, exercise will produce muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. You should go by how your clothes fit and how your measurements change to check your progress!
What is your holiday tradition?
Do you and your family take advantage of the long weekend to visit extended family? Whatever your plans may be, just be safe and get back to school safely!
And for your next speech.....
You have two speeches left to deliver (some of you have all three). You could choose to give your persuasive speech as your second speech OR you could deliver the informative speech as your next speech. Either way, you should save the speech that is easier for your to write and perform as your last speech. Speech 2 will be due WITH A VISUAL AID by April 4th.
April is upon us! If you are behind, you really need to get moving! Grades go in this week!
Sociology and Theater Arts Assignments
Theater Arts: Journal #7/ Improv Assignment (This should be fun!)
Sociology this week: Legalities involved in our choices
Crimes, misdemeanors, felonies....there are consequences to everything we do. There are also consequences do things we don't do. Are you part of a neighborhood watch where you live? Do you participate in National Night Out?
It's Easter time!
So, how many eggs will you find ?? Do you have to play the part of the bunny, hiding all the eggs around the house and yard for young brothers, sisters and cousins? Have fun!
A Night at the Improv!
Improvisation can be every entertaining because it is totally UNREHEARSED! Watch some episodes of "Who's Line is it Anyway?"
