Earth Day Healing Sounds Yoga Flow

Important Details for Those Attending Friday, April 22

We can't wait to see you Friday to experience this amazing practice of relaxing yoga, sound, meditation, and mini-massage to celebrate our connection to the earth!

We are honored to have a number of people attending, so please note the following to ensure a delightful evening for all:

  1. Some props are available, but if you have your own, please bring your mat, a blanket, block, and firm pillow or bolster. Whatever you need to be your most comfortable!
  2. PARKING is available on the west side of the building on Cedar street, but will be limited! If possible, car pool. You may have to walk a block or two.
  3. We will start promptly at 7:15. We recommend you arrive 15-20 minutes early to sign in and get settled on your mat.
  4. If you have not signed a release form, please do so before class (these will be available at sign-in).
  5. Leave footwear outside of the practice area.
  6. The practice area has amazing acoustics. Voices carry. Because of the nature of this session, We ask that you enter the practice area in noble silence. If speaking, please use your "inside voice." Once the practice is closed, joyful socializing is welcome!
  7. Lauren Malone will provide WONDERFUL mini-massage throughout the practice. A modest gratuity is appreciated!

What to Expect

During our gentle restorative practice, Patrick will play a gong and various crystal singing bowls. The healing tones of these amazing instruments bathe you in vibration, leaving you feeling “re-tuned”, restored, relaxed, and rebalanced. Because our bodies are over 70% water, they are great conductors of sound! Listen with your entire body!

Slow-Flow Yoga

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30-6:30 pm

$10 drop-in, multiple classes: 5/$40, 10/$75

Like caring for a plant, we must nurture our bodies on a regular basis. Slow Flow incorporates breath work with a focused sequence of seated, standing, and balancing postures. With consistent practice, you will gain strength, flexibility, and an overall sense of well-being. This class offers modifications, so is suitable for all levels. These energizing sessions will help you on the path towards a more consistent practice.

Inner Calm Yin Yoga

Mondays 5:30-6:30 & Thursdays, 6:45-7:45 pm

$10 drop-in, multiple classes: 5/$40, 10/$75

Yin yoga is a slow, calming, yet challenging practice designed to target the deeper connective tissues, creating more flexibility, improving circulation, and creating overall well-being throughout the body. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, with minimal muscular engagement. This class is suitable for those new to yoga, as well as seasoned athletes seeking to gain flexibility for their "yang" practices.
