Mr. Mortensen wrote Pillar I, Mr. Cortez wrote Pillar II, and Mrs. Melero wrote Pillar III. Thank you also to all of the teachers, staff, and students who have contributed to all of our environmental initiatives and learning over the last 10 years!

Will Parkview Host an Open House?

Parkview and other Hueneme School District Schools will not be hosting traditional Open Houses this year. Instead, this year, Parkview will host a Parkview Family Picnic night. Parents and families will be invited to bring a picnic to school in the evening and enjoy music and playtime with their children. Some student artwork and schoolwork will be on display in classroom windows. We may have a food truck, if one is available. We are currently choosing a date and will send that information as soon as we decide.

Traffic Reminders

We would like to remind all of you how important it is for all of us to drive slowly and safely around the school. It is crucial for all of us to follow all traffic and parking laws.

Consider how dangerous it is to allow your student to exit or enter your car while you are still in the lane of traffic. If your car were to be hit at the time the child is entering or exiting your car, the results could be tragic.

Please plan ahead to arrive early and park a little farther away if needed so there is time to park and walk using sidewalks and crosswalks.
