PRAYER

Lent Prayer for God to bring beauty from ashes:

Dear God,

In this season of Lent, we’re reminded of our own difficulties and struggles. Sometimes the way has seemed too dark. Sometimes we feel like our lives have been marked by such grief and pain, we don’t see how our circumstances can ever change. But in the midst of our weakness, we ask that you would be strong on our behalf. Lord, rise up within us, let your Spirit shine out of every broken place we’ve walked through. Allow your power to be manifest through our own weakness, so that others will recognize it is You who is at work on our behalf. We ask that you would trade the ashes of our lives for the beauty of your Presence. Trade our mourning and grief for the oil of joy and gladness from your Spirit. Trade our despair for hope and praise. We choose to give you thanks today and believe that this season of darkness will fade away. Thank you that you are with us in whatever we face and that you are greater than this trial. We know and recognize that you are Sovereign, we thank you for the victory that is ours because of Christ Jesus, and we are confident that you have good still in store for our future. We thank you that you are at work right now, trading our ashes for greater beauty. We praise you, for you make all things new.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Note from Mrs. Longden

Holy Trinity Catholic School has a rich and long-standing history of excellence within our community. Our past has set the tone for our future when we look to the success of our graduates many years beyond these formational blocks of life. Many families have been able to participate in this beautiful school community where each shares a joint mission for their children. That mission, first and foremost, is to bring everyone closer to God. We do this in our school by teaching that God loves us. We teach the two greatest commandments, love God with all your heart and soul, and love your neighbors equally. To that end, we develop capable and confident students who also become compassionate to the needs of others both near and far. Our excellence flows with happy students who love to learn.

We know that the impact we can make in these formational years speaks loudly. We are so thankful for your support in all ways. Your prayers, your participation, your generosity keeps our mission alive and growing in hope for each child’s future.

Many Blessings have come our way! A special thank you to West Bend Elevator for donating a pallet of water softener salt for our school and church! We appreciate your support of Holy Trinity!

Blessings,

Mrs. Longden

Lockdown Drill

Today Holy Trinity Students and Staff participated in a lockdown drill.

Teachers were not made aware of what time the drill would be happening so they would all be on alert. They talked with students on what to do in the event they were in the hallways or bathroom. Some students were in the bathroom, but they knew what to do. All students and staff were safe and accounted for.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school office.

Thank you for your help and support in keeping the school safe!
