Please Welcome Lisa Tigert!
I was born and raised in Southern California and have lived in Alpharetta for almost 7 years. My husband Randy and I have been married for 22 years and have 3 adult kids: Kyle, Madison & Alyssa. We have 2 dogs (a 17 year old Beagle & a 2 year old mixed-breed rescue) and a few fish.
My work history covers the banking, architectural and staffing industries, as well as helping a friend out with her dog walking business in Alpharetta!
I have always wanted to work within the school system in a supporting role and am so excited to work with the staff and faculty at Findley Oaks Elementary!

It’s Almost Here!
The time for Findley Oaks’ Fine Arts Night is almost here! On Tuesday, March 14th you will be able to view a VIRTUAL art show (a link to the website will be sent out a few days before to all families). This VIRTUAL show will feature an artwork from every student at Findley Oaks and will run until midnight on Friday, March 25th. During this VIRTUAL art show, you have the option to purchase your child’s framed artwork and reproductions of his/ her work for $25 each from the website. You can choose to either have the artworks shipped to your home (or any home in the United States,) or you can pick the artwork up from Findley Oaks at a time and date to be determined in the future. If you do not wish to purchase your child’s artwork framed, unframed artwork will be returned to students at a time after March 25th. A portion of all purchases go toward purchasing special supplies needed to create Findley Oaks’ 5th grade legacy projects, all grades’ clay projects (Japanese tea bowls, Claes Oldenberg inspire clay sculptures, clay mask sculptures, etc.), and all grades’ weaving projects (loom weaving, paper plate weaving, cup weaving, yarn, etc.). We cannot wait for you to see what we’ve been up to!
FCS Code of Conduct Survey
It's that time of year!
Dear FCS Parents and Families: we like to get your input regarding our FCS Code of Conduct. Would you please consider taking this short survey to provide feedback? All feedback is valued. This link will only be available until March 26th.
School Nutrition to begin accepting Meal Eligibility Applications to support P-EBT Benefits
To support P-EBT eligibility benefits for students, the School Nutrition Program will process Free & Reduced Price Meal applications. By completing an application it may help you to qualify for P-EBT Benefits for next year, however it is unknown at this time if P-EBT benefits will be extended for another year. Thanks to USDA waivers, students will continue to receive school meals at no charge this school year. The Free & Reduced Price Meal application is online for parents/guardians that wish to apply for meal benefits. Visit www.fulton.schoollunchapp.com to begin the online application.

Findley Oaks PTA News
Silent Auction
The PTA has TWO volunteer opportunities available in the Business Partnerships division for the Annual Findley Oaks Silent Auction! The position for the Silent Auction Chair is vacant. There are several businesses that have already committed to donating and the role of the chair will be to upload the donations to the auction website, work with volunteers to organize items for pick up, and work with the VP of Business Partners for any direction or support. If you are tech-savvy and are willing to donate your time to assist the school with this fundraiser we would love to have you! Additionally, we are looking for another individual to assist the Silent Auction Chair or VP of Business Partners in finalizing the donations and finding a few more to add to the list. It takes a village!
Lastly, if you know of any businesses that would like to donate to our auction, please contact us via the email address below. All donations are tax-deductible and the business will get brand visibility to the over 500+ families and faculty members of the Findley Family! No donation is too small! We have everything from restaurant gift cards to recreational memberships and camps! We have had grocery store gift cards, beauty, barber, and nail salons, automotive care, accounting businesses, car detailers, etc. in the past! We appreciate any support we get.
Please contact us at FOEBusinessPartners@gmail.com if you know of someone who would like to donate or if you are willing to donate your time! Thank you for your support!
