Physics & Engineering in Action!
The Grosse Pointe North High School Physics Department proudly presents the 5th annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. This engineering project challenges student groups to apply their knowledge of forces and motion. Teams of students must construct a boat made entirely out of cardboard and duct tape that can support the weight of two students. The boats are placed in the school pool and have to complete one full lap in the pool paddled by students.
