PSAT/NMSQT for 10th & 11th Graders
The Preliminary SAT or PSAT/NMSQT will be given at Hazel Green High School on October 29, 2020, to 10th and 11th grade students who choose to take the test. This is an optional test that provides practice for the SAT and serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test for 11th grade students. The cost of the test is $20 and can be paid through MySchoolFees. Pay online and then sign up in the Guidance Office by October 21, 2020. Progress reports will be sent home with our traditional students on Thursday. Remote students and their parents can find grades by logging into the INOW parent portal. If you are a parent/guardian and would like your login information for INOW, please email email@example.com.
Senior Portraits--Deadline October 9
Studio appointments with Lifetouch/Prestige are still available. Formal portraits must be taken by October 9th to ensure inclusion in the yearbook.
If you plan to take yours on campus, Lifetouch/Prestige will be on campus to take senior yearbook photographs on September 30. If you want proofs to be printed, the sitting fee will be $15.
School Picture Day for freshman, sophomores, and juniors who are currently coming to school as traditional, face-to-face students is Wednesday (tomorrow), September 23.
***Remote/virtual students may have their school pictures taken on Wednesday, October 21, after school until 5 p.m.
Scantron Testing for 9th Graders
Early Release Form: All seniors with early release on their schedules need to sign the early release form and have a parent or guardian sign it as well. Please email the signed form to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it off at the front office as soon as possible.
- School pictures for underclassmen (9th-11th) will be taken on Wednesday, September 23.
- Seniors who have not had their senior portraits made can have these made on Wednesday, September 30.
- Make-up pictures for underclassmen will be taken on Wednesday, October 21.
- Remote/virtual students (only underclassmen) may have their school pictures taken on Wednesday, October 21, after school until 5 p.m.
The Trojan Trail: The Trojan Trail will close at 4 p.m. on nights that we host varsity football games.
Volleyball Gear: Trojan volleyball fans can now get their 2020 gear at Print Two Impress!

Online Application for Free/Reduced Meals: Online free and reduced meal applications are available at the link below for a faster, more confidential way to apply. A new application must be completed each school year to qualify for free or reduced meals. Your child's eligibility status carries over to the new school year for the first 30 school days, allowing parents time to re-apply. Only one application per household should be submitted, and everyone living in the house must be included on the application.
