AGHS Athletics Livestream Scams / Update
Hello Eagles, It has been so great watching our teams compete as we are fully embracing this spring weather!
Please be advised that we continue to see livestreaming scams for high school sports, and wanted to send out a brief reminder that unless AGHS Athletics is promoting any livestreaming event we do NOT endorse it! If you are being asked for credit card information or payment of any kind it is NOT related to us. All livestreams produced by AGHS Athletics will be via the AGHS Athletics YouTube channel, and are FREE of charge for the duration of this school year. All schools are operating differently
Some CCAA member schools are using the NFHS network for livestreaming which DOES charge a monthly fee, and is a legitimate livestreaming resource. This is in fact the case for this Friday's football game @ Templeton High School. If you are interested in watching the football Game, feel free to subscribe to the NFHS Network with a monthly fee of $10.99 which will allow you to watch any livestreamed events for Templeton HS. At this time, both boys and girls volleyball will travel to play Templeton on Wednesday 4/21 @ 4/5/6:30pm which could also be utilized with this livestream purchase.
Please subscribe to the AGHS Athletics YouTube Channel, we are so close to reaching the 1K subscriber benchmark needed - 79 away !!!!
With EAGLE PRIDE, thank you for your support of your kids, our teams, and AGHS!

Message from LMUSD to Seniors and their Family
Good afternoon, Lucia Mar Seniors and Families,
We are glad to share updates on our upcoming recognitions and celebrations for our graduating seniors. AGHS, NHS, and CCNTH are all planning wonderful graduations for the Class of 2021. Following long-awaited guidance from the California Department of Public Health, we are working to create graduation ceremonies that are safe for graduates and guests, and approved by the local public health authorities. We’ll have details coming out soon about how the celebrations will be organized to assist families with their planning.
In addition, each school is working on other end of the year celebrations as well. Rest assured that communications on dates for these additional activities will be shared by each school after spring break, along with details about how to sign up and other critical information.
We’re looking forward to celebrating with you soon, seniors!

LMUSD Message to Parents
In an effort to best plan for the 2021-22 school year, we’ve attached a brief survey asking families if your students will be returning to regular full time in-person instruction, or an alternative. Our planned alternatives include: independent study or a planned “virtual academy.” Our planned virtual academy will offer the opportunity for students to continue to learn from home, but with full day instruction provided by a Lucia Mar teacher.
Your responses on this survey are simply to help us know how many people are interested in knowing more about alternative options, you are not committing to a choice. We’ll be offering some informational sessions after spring break for those who’d like to learn more. In the next few months, we’ll send out additional enrollment information for students to formally enroll in independent study or the virtual academy.
Link to survey here.
Thank you.
Hillery Dixon
Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum
