Aaina Project
Aaina is the South Asian Association on campus and we’re looking for volunteers for a project we will be conducting Winter Term 2018. As a cultural club and community, we feel that the narrative of international students and domestic students of colour has been influenced by stereotypes and generalisations. Within the past political year, this narrative has been even more stretched. Aaina wants to use our platform to recognise and represent stories that detach from an Americanised and romanticised narrative. The project is the start of this and we’ll be working to document these experiences. See flyer for addiional details.
