From the Director
Dear CDS Community,
It was great seeing so many of you show up to Parent Teacher Conference today to learn more about your child's development at CDS. If there were any teachers who you wanted to meet with but didn't get the chance, please feel free to make an appointment with them for a later date.
I'd like to extend a special thank you to the high school students from the Interpreter Club for helping our parents and teachers understand one another! They did an excellent job!
The CDS MS Halloween Party was a big success again this year! The efforts of the student council clearly paid off as the haunted house exceeded students' expectations for both scariness and fun. I also want to thank Ms. Koetje & Ms. Montelibano for guiding our young leaders in our Student Council through their planning and problem solving. Finally, a great big thank you to the parents who showed their support with preparing and serving dinner.
Looking ahead, Co-curricular clubs (CCs) and After School Programs (ASPs) for the Fall season will end with Thanksgiving Break. In the coming weeks, we will share more information about CC and ASP offerings and sign-ups for the Winter season.
Have a great weekend!

Halloween Highlights from our Student Council President
The Student Council worked very hard on the Halloween party, and our efforts paid off this past Wednesday! We had a lot of fun activities and a spooky Haunted House planned. Some of the activities included Ghosts in the Graveyard, Musical Chairs, and a Spiderweb Hopscotch.
Almost all of the middle schoolers came to the party! The PTA and other parent volunteers helped out with preparing the delicious, Halloween-themed food, and overall, it was a very successful event. Thank you to the PTA for all of your help preparing and serving dinner!

Student Council President
