Mission Statement

Sterling City ISD believes that students are our #1 resource. Knowing that all students can learn, we are committed to preparing today's youth for tomorrow's challenges.

House Bill 5 UPDATE

The Texas Legislature has passed a new bill called House Bill 5. You may have heard a lot about this bill and the changes that it will make for students graduating from public High Schools. There are many things in this bill, but I want to discuss the graduate requirements that will effect next years incoming Freshmen class.


Foundation Plan- 22 Credits

Endorsements- a student must earn all credits in Foundation Plan plus 4 additional credits

Endorsement Types: Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Business and Industry, Public Service, Arts and Humanities, and Multidisciplinary Studies
