N.S.A. Library's Mission

Our mission is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; students are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information (American Association of School Librarians, 2016).

Library Policy and Procedures

The Nashville School of the Arts Magnet High School Library supports teachers and students on a daily basis, and seeks to:

  • Provide leadership, collaboration, and assistance to teachers in instructional design and technology integration

  • Provide learning experiences that encourage students to become discriminating and skilled users and creators of information

  • Promote literacy through resources, programs, and activities

  • Provide access to current and high quality resources in a variety of formats

General Information:


  • NSA Librarian Office Hours are Monday-Friday 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. (Practice/Lunch) and 2:00-3:00 p.m.(Study Hall) Links are listed below.

  • Staff, students, and parents may email me to schedule at a different time.

  • Ms. Hall loves to collaborate and to co-teach. Please let her know in advance what your content and standards are. She will gather resources as well as help create student activities and assessments for the lessons. Given the amount of planning for successful library visits, please give her at least 48 hours notice.

Online School Payments (OSP)

Welcome to the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools Online School Payments (OSP) portal. This service is provided to parents to facilitate payment for school fees for a variety of products and services.
