Building Champions in Academics, Character, and Community
Panther Community
As we finish this year out strong, the month of May will hold activities and celebrations that we are excited to have the opportunity to welcome parents back into our schools. Your involvement and participation in the educational process are vital for the success of our school district. Please check with your individual schools on event calendars.
I also want to thank the parents and community who took the time to vote early in our elections. The outcome of the bond proposals plus the school board positions are very important to the future of Liberty Hill ISD. If you have not voted yet, please take time to vote Saturday, May 1st. Information is below.
Have a great day!

UIL Band
CONGRATULATIONS to the Liberty Hill High School and Junior High band students on their SUPERIOR performance at the UIL Band Contest. It was a huge success for the entire Liberty Hill Band Program.
Both of the High School bands and both of the Junior High bands received 1st division ratings in both concert and sight-reading from all of the judges. This is the second year in a row that all bands have received 1st divisions.
Congratulations to LHISD Band directors John Perrin, Justin Zimerman, Lisa Hill, and Jared Clarkson for their continued success in conducting superior bands.
Baseball
Friday was one of those nights where everything great about this game and everything gut-wrenching about this game was on full display. Dropped a tough one but so much to learn from.

Tennis
Liberty Hill tennis had a great showing in our first year of 5A Spring tennis.
We had 3 qualifiers to play at Regionals in San Antonio on Tuesday, April 27-28. They are Ellis Young (2nd place) and Ethan Wukasch/ Patrick Fay (2nd place). We have 4 alternates also traveling to Regionals: Mackenzie Coleman/ Jennifer Merrill (3rd), Sophie Sherman (3rd), and Joseph Sherman (3rd). To win a UIL medal is a big deal. Please congratulate these players when you see them and give them some Panther love.
