Parent Conversations? These will be question and answer sessions with experts in various aspects of child development and wellness. You will have the opportunity to learn from the guest speaker, as well as one another as we dive into topics such as behavior management, brain-based parenting, and executive functioning.
Family Connection Circles? The goal of these meetings will be to empower one another to support our children as they grow through connection, collaboration, and community. We will discuss the social-emotional development of children and can explore topics of interest to you. These interactive workshops will take place at the Merrimack Public Library!
Mindfulness: Support for Parents and Caregivers Workshops? These are in-person workshops taking place at JMUES with child-care provided! During the first ½ hour you will learn about mindfulness-based strategies that can help children acquire self-regulation skills. During the last half hour, children are welcome to join their parents to do group mindfulness-based activities that can then be practiced at home.
