International Kids Film Festival
December 12th 5:30-8pm ~ Pierce Elementary School
Join us for this NEW FREE family event
Enjoy a night at the movies and choose from feature length or short films. Please RSVP with us by December 10th to reserve your dinner and movie. After viewing, VOTE for your favorite short film!!
Sponsored by the Pierce Diversity Committee. Refreshments provided by the Community Education Council with all proceeds to support a family in need. Everyone should bring a beach towel to sit on!!
(all students must be accompanied by a responsible adult)
Movies were selected by a team of parents, teachers and Mr Lalik. Our goals were to find films that highlighted other cultures that Pierce kids would otherwise likely not see. We looked for the story of another culture, told in another place, or with elements or theme of another culture, in the hopes that we can see our shared experience in this big world. We hope you enjoy these as much as we have!
