Hello SLHS Families,
It is hard to believe that we are entering November! November means the end of the first quarter and the middle of the college application season. Thank you to the Student Council for organizing two fun weeks of homecoming.The first week was a huge success and looking forward to the second week. On Monday and Tuesday, we recognized five rooms for winning the decorating contest. 9th (203 & 205), 10th (204), 11th (116) & 12th (118). I’d also like to congratulate the Class of 2023 & the Class of 2024 for winning the Tug of War competitions on Thursday & Friday. Thanks to all the students and staff members for all their time and effort.

Juniors and Seniors who are failing one or more classes, will lose their off campus privileges.
Students who are failing more than three classes will be asked to attend work sessions on Wednesdays to get help and get caught up.
Students who continue to fail and not show effort will be asked to attend school four to five days a week.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
The first quarter end on Friday, November 13th and report cards will be available November 18th on the SchoolTool parent portal. If you don’t have access to the parent portal, please email your request along with your email address to Diana Schwartz at schwartdia@slcs.org.
