Tis the season! GERM Season!
Please remember to keep your student home for 24 hours after symptoms of fever, vomiting, or diarrhea have stopped without medication. I
f your student has a confirmed diagnosis of flu, strep etc, please notify the teacher and me.
Please work with us in reminding your child of the importance of:
- Covering his/her cough.
- Avoid touching his/her face
- Thorough hand washing/sanitizing.

Circus-A-Thon Fun Run Fundraiser in full swing!
Circus-A-Thon Fun Run registration is OPEN!!
Our Circus themed Fun Run has events that the students get to participate in as they meet class goals - the FIRST class goal is to have 80% registration - so get out there and register so the students can be well on their way to having some extra fun!! We are looking forward to a successful fundraiser for Oak Grove!!

Veterans Day Celebration
We honor those who dedicate their lives to protecting the United States of America.
Veterans Activities
Oak Grove invites all Veterans for breakfast, an assembly, and recognition on Friday, November 11th, 2022.
- 7:30am - Breakfast for Veterans and their Oak Grove students
- Please RSVP if your Veteran will be attending the breakfast!
- 8:30am - Celebration Assembly, cafeteria
- 9:15am - Veteran Parade
Wall of Heroes - deadline, Friday, November 4th
Submit the name and picture (optional) of any Veteran in your child's life - family members to family friends. Click HERE to complete the form. Your child's Veterans will have their names posted on our Wall of Heroes! Those who submitted names/pictures last year need NOT re-apply. Your details are ready for posting on our Wall of Heroes.
Mr. Blum needs 2x4s!
We can use as short as 24", but the majority will need lumber at least 35" in length or longer (that we can cut to 35"). There are sixty shelves in the Chapter Book Fiction alone. blum.kenneth@fcboe.org
Science Olympiad
Mrs. Eller is working on applications for Science Olympiad this week. She will announce who is on the team on Tuesday of next week.
Thanksgiving Feast
We are excited to welcome guests into the building for our Thanksgiving Feast! The Feasts will be held on Wednesday, November 16th and Thursday, November 17th. Reservation forms went out last Friday. Tickets for adults must be prepaid and payment is due by Friday, November 11th. If you have any questions please call the school.
Trunk or Treat : October 27 : 7pm-8pm
The Student Athletic Advisory Board is hosting Trunk or Treat at SMHS. We would like to invite all Oak Grove families to come.
