From the Principal
- Teacher Meet and Greet and Beginning Band Meeting this evening (May 15th) - Grade level times are listed below.
- If you want to order a yearbook, the order form is attached below.
- Library books are due back to school by Friday, May 17th to avoid late charges.
- Lost and found items were moved to the main hall for your convenience. Any items not collected by Friday, May 24th will be donated.
- May 23 - Track and Field Day
- May 24 - Last Day of School, Awards, and 6th-grade graduation - 10:30 in Charles Johnson Theater, No Bearcat Club (Please see the invitation below from the Harris family for Anson's graduation party - All Horace Mann families are invited to attend.)
- June 10-July 3 - Summer School - We still have a few spots open. The enrollment form is attached below.
We are currently accepting enrollments for the 2019-2020 school year. Enrollment forms were sent home and I have attached copies below in case you need new copies. Our staffing lineup is also outlined below. Feel free to contact the office (660-562-1233) or schedule a meeting with me if you have any questions.
I am happy to report that our STEM-a-thon fundraiser this year was our best year yet. We collected $4,600 in donations. Thank you to all the families who contributed addresses for donors and to all who donated. The money collected will be utilized to continue and extend STEM learning opportunities at Horace Mann. I have included pictures of the event and thank you videos from the children below.
