From the Counselor's Corner
April is Awesome!!!
WOW!! I cannot believe the school year is coming to an end. We have accomplished so many things this school year!! Your kids have done an amazing job. I want to send a huge shout out and thank you to my Intern, Ms. Wieberg, she did an incredible job. Unfortunately, her time with us is up but we wish her well with her future endeavors. She will be missed.
For the month of May, we will be wrapping things up with our focus being Grit/Resilience, Reflecting on this school year and looking forward to and transitioning into next school year.
Don’t forget to keep practicing Mindfulness, it is good for our minds and bodies. If you need some help check out the Mindful Moments document to see what we have been doing in Counseling class.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Remember that I am a resource so if your family is experiencing any changes or your kiddo is struggling with something please let me know so that I can help them navigate through.

ChatGPT is a large language model, web-based app launched in 2022 that has quickly risen to mainstream popularity. Within the first two months, ChatGPT gained over 100 million users, drastically faster than TikTok, which took nine months to reach the 100 million user mark.
ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot that can answer questions and provide information on almost any topic. Many students are using this technological innovation as a tutor or to help them refine their writing skills; however, many teachers are concerned that using ChatGPT will lead to cheating or bring up safety issues.
