Weekly Update- February 17, 2017
Week at a Glance
Math- We are continuing multiplication patterns. We took a deeper look at the number 120 today, as students were very curious as to why that number has so many common multiples. We are confident that taking the time to really look at multiplication patters and common multiples, students will be very prepared when working with fractions in 4th grade.
Science- Last week we used a breadboard to light a circuit and all groups were able to complete the task, which was awesome. This week we took a look at "if, then statements," which help with writing algorithms & giving a set of directions.
Writing- Students continued working on their opinion writing.
NO homework menu this week.

If you'd like your child to get some extra practice for reading before the test, MobyMax is a great place to practice. Your child will go to www.mobymax.com/oh2407 and sign in. Their username will be the same as their google log in, and their password is eagles3! .
***The "informational text" section will be a really great way for students to practice for this, and other standardized tests. ***
