Battle of the Bluebonnets!
It was an exciting day as 36 third, fourth, and fifth graders voted for their favorite Bluebonnet Book. Based on their votes, the students feel that Salem Hyde: Spelling Trouble should win. According to the votes from students all around the state of Texas, the book that actually won this year was When the Beat Was Born. On Monday, our Bagdad Bluebonnet team will compete against all the other elementary schools in the Battle of the Bluebonnets! Our amazing team includes: 5th graders Elizabeth Unger, Sydney Dawson, and Payton Gilmore; 4th grader Alex Skeem, and 3rd grader Gabriel De Oliveira. Congratulations to everyone who participated! This was our BEST YEAR EVER!

Student Technology Survey
All 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders took a mandated Student Survey in the library this past week. The first part of the survey asked about their feelings on things that were going on in their classroom, and how the felt about school in general. The second portion of the survey asked questions about their access to technology, and how they felt about the amount of technology resources on our campus. The results of this survey will be sent to the district office and shared with principals and the school board.
