Secular Coalition for America

Representing Secular Americans in Our Nations Capital

The mission of the Secular Coalition for America is to increase the visibility of and respect for nontheistic viewpoints in the United States, and to protect and strengthen the secular character of our government as the best guarantee of freedom for all.

Stop the Hate!

On June 17, Representative Raul Labrador and Senator Mike Lee introduced the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA), H.R.2802 and S.1598, in the House and Senate. FADA would legalize religious discrimination against same-sex couples. Urge your member of Congress to block legalized discrimination.

A few key issues we aim to influence

  • Health and Safety: The health and safety of an individual should not be compromised by the religious beliefs of another person or group.
  • Education: Children should not be subjected to religious education or exercises in our public schools.
