April Graduates
Unfortunately, we were unable to get photos of our April graduates due to the Shelter in Place Order. We hope that sometime in the future we will be able to honor them in person. The District has taken a survey asking for ideas for graduation and is weighing all options. We will let graduates and parents know the plan as soon as possible. In the meantime, enjoy the kindergarten pictures of the following students. We are proud that they are San Antonio High School graduates.

Thank you for your support as we continue to adjust to Distance Learning. While this is not our chosen method of education, we appreciate the efforts both you and your students have made over the past weeks. Please know that we are all doing our best to provide the best and most accessible education we can and will continue to do so throughout the remainder of the school year. With only 4 weeks to go, the end of the year is fast approaching. Please continue to encourage your student to engage with their coursework and reach out to their teachers. We welcome any questions or concerns you have as we finish out the year. We miss your students and so look forward to the future when we can all gather together again!
Best to you all,
Ms. Lofton

You recognize this place ? This is San Antonio High School and it has been affected by Covid-19. Before the worldwide pandemic happened, this school was filled with students and positive attitudes and was full of laughter and good times. Now it is empty, abandoned and no students to cheer up the place we call school. I imagine every student would like to go back to school to see their teachers and other students.

Art Corner
Images of children's chalk drawings around town. It has become a trend for children to write positive messages on the sidewalks for passers by to enjoy.
"This is what we do during the day to keep ourselves busy. Just doing simple things like going on a walk, splashing in puddles, coloring and even having them play sous chef and letting them help with dinner."
-Amaris Villasenor
Inspiring People
Devine Calloway, a pro skater for the skate brand Primitive has influenced my life in ways such as being persistent in skateboarding, getting hurt and getting back up. Never give up even if it hurts you. It taught me as a skateboarder to pursue my goal. The temptation of quitting was a common thing for me at the time. Watching his interviews inspired me to not give up, but push no matter how hurt I am.
The Coast
In the cold water, green seaweed The light brown of the sand There is more under than above the surface Many living things under the sand The sand blows away in the wind As if the sun is blowing it all away The sand, hot to the touch Shells laid out across the sand You can hear the ocean splash against itself Laughter and good times in the water are fun for all.
If I could change the world, I would…
If I could change the world, I would…
create a world where people try to understand each other's pain, instead of being quick to judge others. We live in a world where people judge people based on how they look, the way they talk, where they were born, and even how they grew up. I think if instead of judging, but trying to understand or even relate to another's pain, there would be a lot less problems in the world.
Sanctuary
The birds chirp, water sweeps the sand, Replacing its shape with a new Geographical structure. The rocks look as if they are afloat, Light as a feather. Bonfires fill the air with warm presence, With a feeling of protection Or the feeling of a warm welcome. It can be a peaceful place, A place of solitude, a place of thought.
