6 Reasons YOU Need a Library Card!
The Delaware County Library System’s collection of databases provides access to primary sources, magazines, newspapers, and reference articles from hundreds of sources! Databases include American History Online, Consumer Health Complete, Modern World History Online, the Philadelphia Inquirer Historical Archive (1860-1922), and so much more! These are excellent sources for research on current events, history, the environment, health, and other topics. And you won’t find any of these resources on the “free web,” a.k.a. Google.

How It Works:
Live tutors are available daily from 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Using their library card number to log on, students enter the grade level and subject they need help in. They are then connected to the first available subject expert tutor in a secure online classroom. Students and tutors work together using a chat feature, and interactive white board, sharing computer files and education web sites as needed.
