Blue Hills News
From the Desk of the Principal - October 28, 2021
Dear Blue Hills Families,
I hope that you are dry and warm after the first Nor'easter of the season.
Believe it or not, fall sports are almost over and winter sports begin after Thanksgiving! All athletes participating in winter sports must register for the specific sport they plan to participate in by November 22, 2021. Please click here to register. Please remember that physical exams must be up to date, and may have expired even if you played a fall sport.
Thank you to all the parents and guardians who joined us for Parent/Teacher conferences, whether remotely or in-person. For many of you, it was your first time inside the building - hope you enjoyed the newly renovated facility!
Next Wednesday, we will be having our Open House for prospective 8th graders from 5:30 to 7:30, November 3rd. To prepare for the event, we will be dismissing students at 11:35 a.m. No lunch will be served on November 3rd.
Tomorrow night (Friday, October 29) is our Homecoming football game at 6 p.m. vs. Canton; tickets are $5 for the game. We are also hosting a Homecoming dance for grades 9-12 (BHR students only) at 7 p.m. in our cafeteria.
Sincerely,
Mr. Zini
Extended Mask Mandate
At this time, Blue Hills is not at the 80% threshold for vaccinations. If your student has been vaccinated recently, or is in the process of being vaccinated, please inform our Nurse, Ms. Gainey (jgainey@bluehills.org).
