Did you know Rice Library System is online?
- We provide students access to our Library Catalog to look up & hold books they want to check out.
- Students can download the FOLLETT BRYTEWAVE K-12 app and read our eBooks online or offline.

Breakfast Book Club (3-5 Grade ONLY)

Upcoming book club sessions have been set. The Giver will meet on Wednesday morning and Rump: the true story of Rumpelstiltskin will meet on Thursday mornings.
Breakfast Book Club members for each book club session will receive their book and a bookmark club pass.
Students come to the library with their book & breakfast during our meeting dates.
Breakfast book club starts at 7:30 a.m. and students should have read their assigned portion of the book to remain in book club.
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math (STEAM) Home Challenge
Our STEAM home challenge is intended to motivate students to develop an interest in STEAM and encourage students to unlock creative potential. The student must be able to describe the problem and how it is solved with their creation.
Please limit the size of box you use for our latest S.T.E.A.M. Challenge!

Kindergarten & 1st graders = 1 book
(signed Library Media Center Permission Slips need to be returned before students are allowed to take library books home)
2nd - 5th graders = 2 books (An extra book is allowed while researching)
