Clarkville School
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the wonderful Clarkville community for the last five years. It has been an honour to get to know your families and to see your children thriving at school.
Clarkville is a school with a soul and vibrant energy. Engagement in learning is high and this is due to the culture that promotes success for every child. Our very caring staff hold high expectations for your children and they provide a wealth of opportunities to help students find their strengths. The school will be in great hands during term 3 with Linda at the helm and I am sure that Kris will be warmly welcomed when he arrives in term 4.
Thank you for your good wishes and the lovely messages shared at the leaving events over the last couple of weeks. I look forward to hearing news about Clarkville and I wish you all the best for the future.
Learning Conferences
Thank you for taking the time to join us for Learning Conferences this week. The opportunity to meet face to face with families to acknowledge the progress of each child is affirming of their educational progress and success. Teachers speak highly about the value of these meetings and their pride in their students is genuine.
Building project
A building project will begin in the holidays in Whakarewa. The first week of the project will involve the removal of asbestos and the community is asked to avoid coming onto the school grounds during this week.
