Tustumena Elementary Newsletter

August 6, 2020 Looking for a new member of our family.

It pains me to say...

Good afternoon Tustumena Family,

There is no easy way to say it, Mrs. Anthony is resigning her position. This leaves a huge hole in our school, especially the office. She has been a great "face of our school." Even though I don't like the thought of it, we will need to fill this void. It will take someone with extraordinary communication and relationship as well as office skills. If you or someone you know would be interested in the position, please visit our KPBSD website under the employment tab, or go directly to:

Please join me in wishing Mrs. Anthony well. She is exceptional.

Sincerely,

Doug Hayman

Principal

In other news:

One of the other questions that has been asked is around volunteering at school and if it will be allowable. The short answer is "yes." Of course during "red" we will not have a normal school environment, but during green or yellow cautions volunteers will be welcome. All volunteers will have to follow protocols around social distancing and face masks but we still want our community in the school. If you are interested in volunteering, please be sure to fill out the application online so the process of background checks can begin. Thank you.
