Here are a list of events and activities being held this month. Watch your email for more details and information on these events.

1. March Madness Book Tournaments for grades k-2 & 3-5 - will be held all month long with winning books being announced the last week of March.
2. Read Across OVCA Week is March 6th-10th. We will have daily reading activities with opportunities to share your pictures.
3. Spring Break BOOK Bingo Contest held during Spring Break.
4. Pizza Hut BOOK IT Program-submit your five books by March 31st you have read for a free personal pan pizza certificate.
5. March Madness Book Tournament winning books announced March 31st.
6. Barnes & Noble Book Fair-April 1st in person and virtual. More details coming soon!

Students will have opportunities to send pictures of their participation in Read Across OVCA Month activities and to cast their votes on the March Madness Book Tournaments brackets each week. All students submitting these will have their names entered into a random drawings the first week of April to win one of ten $10 Half Price Book gift certificates! The winning students will be announced the first week of April. Five students will be chosen from grades k-2 and five students will be chosen from grades 3-5.

Join us in some fun March Madness with our BOOK Tournaments all month. We will have 3 rounds of voting on your favorite books. We start with our Elite Eight bracket this week. Please select your grade band tournament link below to cast your votes! This round is open through Spring Break to give you an opportunity to read these books. All books can be found in the Big Universe in your OLS account. Voting closes for this round March 18th. Round #2-The Final Four will open March 20th. Watch your emails for more info on Round 2 coming soon! Have fun reading!

Email your list of 5 books you are reading for the month of March to sirvin@okvirtual.org. Each submission will earn you a certificate for a free personal pan pizza at Pizza Hut. For those that submitted their lists for February, watch your mail for your Pizza Hut certificates being mailed out during Spring Break!

Participants in grades K-12 receive OKC Dodgers tickets, special field access and chances to win additional prizes by reading 20 minutes each day during three challenge periods.
