Global Citizen Club

Join our new Student Club!

Global citizens are individuals …

… who have the right amount of knowledge to understand global developments

... who also have some understanding to what extent these global developments can affect the human condition

… who have the attitude of a true citizen, i.e., they feel obligated to the common good – in case of a global citizen this means the common good of all of humanity.

In the Global Citizenship Club you will learn about what it really means to be a Global Citizen and develop your skills for the future in a globalised world!

1.) Presentation

In this workshop you will learn how to speak in a public environment to make yourself understood. This includes issues like: using clear language; how to control your voice; deliberate body language; behavior in front of a camera; how to deal with questions or with various behavior of the audience; etc.

2.) Discussion techniques

In this workshop you will learn how to present your arguments in a group and how to convince others in a peaceful and intelligent way.

3.) Moderation

In this workshop you will learn how to lead a group discussion as a neutral moderator. How to give leadership to a group so that at the end there is a common decision on a controversial issue.

4.) Fundraising methods

To change the world is usually not possible with a minimum budget. This workshop will give you an insight of what it takes to make others support your idea with funding. And how to find people who might be able and willing to provide funding for what you want to get done.
