We had a fun week back ….
We are really trying to perfect walking in a line without the ring rope (Jesus help us), listening during Circle Time ( Jesus please help) and staying in our seats during lunch (Jesus, we aren’t sure this is even possible) :-) :-) they are still so super cute and make us laugh all day.
I thought it would be fun to record some of the things a fly on the wall could hear a peanut (student) or teacher saying in Room 212 this week:
…peanut-“all bout that base , no treble”
…teacher-“dont put glue in your eyebrows”…
...peanut- (during prayer time when we were supposed to be singing, God our Father instead it was,”God our Elsa”….
…teacher-Put the circle on the glue not the spit (on the paper)…
…peanut- “My mommy says I can’t go to Art”…

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday but knowing how much work it takes to make Christmas magical and relationships with family positive, I am sure you, like me, are a bit weary.
My prayer over all of us…
Isaiah 40:29-31
He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increase strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
So here’s to a year of waiting on the Lord for strength as you raise up these precious little ones and we get to care for them during Weekday. We can never begin to imagine what He can do with us all, when we wait on Him.
