When students pick up their schedule, we are happy to address mistakes in the schedule (i.e missing a class needed for graduation, etc.). Our Counselors will be available. Please note that our master schedule is built based on student requests. Therefore, it is difficult to change a schedule because a student changes his/her mind about a class, they don’t have lunch with a friend, etc. .

Lunch Information
Important Free/Reduced Lunch Information
Over the past two years, students have been able to eat free lunch and breakfast without the requirement to be approved for the discounted rate. This benefit was provided by the federal/state government, however it will not continue into the 2022-23 school year. The deadline to complete the application is September 26.
With that being said, it is important for families that are eligible for free/reduced meals to complete the short online application. It is linked below.
If you need assistance with the application, please contact our school. We are happy to help. Or, if you prefer a paper application, they are available in the office.
Attendance Policy
Students at Har-Ber High School are required to follow the attendance policy outlined by the Springdale School District. Please take a few minutes to review the attendance policy and to regularly check your student’s attendance into HAC. Students that have excessive absences will lose credit (even if passing a course). A summary of this policy is below.
Excessive Absences:
Nine (9) or more absences in a semester will be considered excessive.
Students who accumulate more than eight (8) absences in a class for the semester will not be eligible for credit in that class.
Denial of credit may affect promotion and/or graduation of the individual student.
The following classification of absences will not count toward the eight (8) day limit in which credit for the course or promotion will be denied.
Campus Activity: School sponsored field trips, assemblies, contests, or any other school activity as determined by the building principal.
Medical: Student absences due to the directive of the student’s medical doctor/dental appointments. Doctor/Dental appointments must indicate the day and time the student was seen in the doctor/dental office. Appropriate documentation from doctor/dental office
must be submitted to the attendance office.
Military: Student absences due to military deployment on leave from active duty of a parent or legal guardian.
Legal: Student absences due to court or legal appointments. Court/legal appointments must indicate the day and time the student was seen at court or at the attorney’s office. Appropriate documentation from the court/legal office must be submitted to the attendance office.

Parking Passes
https://har-ber.sdale.org/o/har-ber-high-school/page/online-payment
This year, we will utilize parking stickers that gently adhere to the windshield of the vehicle. If your student drives more than one vehicle, we will provide an additional pass for only $5. Please see Mrs. Fitzgerald if you need to purchase a second pass.
