WEEKEND UPDATE
FRIDAY Sept. 27th..
FOOTBALL News from Jonesboro
On Friday night, our Football and Cheer teams traveled out to Jonesboro to compete against Jonesboro High School.
Our Football team fought hard and played like champions, even though the final score was not the one they hoped for. The boys played their hearts out and the Cheer girls supported them to the end. As always, their sense of sportsmanship was irreproachable. And Jonesboro was kind enough to serve our kiddos hamburger meals made specially for them. Thank you Jonesboro!
SATURDAY Sept. 28th...

Early Saturday morning, as in 4:15 am early, our Forensics team along with their steadfast coach Mr. Mosmeyer, Ms. Alyssa Snyder, herself a Forensics star, and parent volunteers Mr. Smith (father of Reagan Smith), and Mrs. Boor (mom of Benjamin Boor), hit the road for the 3 hour trip up to the Princeton tournament.

Lest we forget Thursday,
VOLLEYBALL traveled back out to St. Joseph in Bryan,
Last week our Volleyball players were back on the road too. JV and Varsity drove out to Bryan after school on Thursday and played amazing games against St. Joseph. The final scores were not wins, but the games were powerful and the Varsity game in particular was absolutely riveting! Our JV was screaming in the stands, cheering on their teammates, who lobbed intense volleys against their opponents - the volleys went back and forth beyond the 25pnt mark, with the score rising on one side then the other, point by point. Our girls played a game to remember and showed off their true athleticism. Way to go Celtics! Thanks again to Head Coach Brandi Jageler for her tenacity and spirit in coaching the girls through these intense games.
And again, Thank you...
....Thank you to all those who support our students!

The groups will be separated into a boys group and a girls group, based on interest.

Capture My Heart Spiritual Retreat - Oct. 4-6 at HTCHS
Dear Celtics!
I am excited to announce that, for the first time ever, Holy Trinity will be offering two new retreats open to all students: a Women's Retreat and a Men's Retreat!
More information about the Men's Retreat will be forthcoming (tentatively scheduled for Nov. 16-17th) but the Women's Retreat, called the Capture My Heart Retreat, will be Friday October 4th through Sunday October 6th.
The Capture My Heart retreat will be a two-night overnight retreat open to all female students at Holy Trinity. The retreat will be located on the Holy Trinity campus and will be led and organized by a group of young adult Catholic women from the local area, including several Holy Trinity alumna. This retreat will be a tremendous opportunity not only for the female students of Holy Trinity to grow closer to each other, but will also be a great opportunity for them to grow closer to Jesus as well.
The cost of the retreat is $20* to help offset the cost of supplies and meals during the weekend. We are hoping to have between 20-25 students attend. If you are interested in attending, please submit a permission slip with $20 to the front office by Tuesday, October 1st.
As a final note, I am very excited to bring this retreat to Holy Trinity. I attended a similar Capture My Heart retreat when I was 20 years old, and it completely changed my relationship with God, my family/friends, and myself. I then worked for the remainder of my college years to lead this retreat for other college-aged women. It has been a dream of mine since I was hired to bring this retreat to the ladies of Holy Trinity. I am excited that in a few short weeks that dream will become a reality. Ladies, I cannot encourage you enough to attend this retreat if you can!
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
Christ's Peace,
Miss Snyder
*If the cost of the retreat is prohibitive to you, please speak to me directly. There are a few opportunities for sponsorships available.
