- Lithuania has one of the worlds lowest gun ownership rates, yet a 45.06 per 100,000 people suicide rate in 1999 (procon.org)
- Lithuania's was the highest suicide rate among 71 countries with available information (procon.org)
- Japan's Gun ownership rate is at .6 per 100 people and a high suicide rate of 18.41 suicides per 100,000 people. (procon.org)
