Syria in the Past Five Years

Much conflict has been in our country do to disagreements with our president Bashar al- Assad and and the citizens of Syria. A civil war has taken over our country, it has driven separation threw out our country. Do to all of the conflict we have no real leader to lead our country, so a much stronger group of people took over our country and neighboring Iraq. Over 200,000 people have died because of these people, and close to 2 or 3 million have fled to neighboring countries such as Turkey. The battle against this group of people and our former president Basar al- Assad has been going on for 5 years. Now the entire world knows what we have gone through because of ISIS or The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. People around the world are doing their best without putting others in harm to help us and neighboring countries to take care of our people in their time of need.

A dictatorship is the rule of one supreme leader. Say like Adolf Hitler, during World War ll in the 1930s and 1940s. He was the supreme leader of the Nazi regime.

What are some main crops in Egypt?

Egypt has many crops that they can plant, but also some limits do to the lack of soil. They often plant things close to the Nile. Such as cotton, sugarcane, and grains.

What are some problems and positives of the Aswan Dam?

Some problems are it makes the soil less fertile for farmers and salt water gets through the dam and into the delta preventing fresh water from reaching where it's needed. Some positives are it lets farmers harvest up to 3 times a year and the dam controls flood waters.

Who were the Berbers?

The Berbers were the first known people to live in Northern Africa. Many people live in Africa but the Berbers were the people that have basically taught the people of modern Africa in their way of life.
