New Principal Appointed to Lincoln

For 2019/20 School Year

District 41 is honored to announce the appointment of Sarah Rodriguez as principal of Abraham Lincoln Elementary School effective July 1, 2019. Mrs. Rodriguez began her career in District 41 in 2001 and is currently the Assistant Principal at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School. Prior to that she served in District 41 as a teacher for 15 years: Kindergarten teacher, 1st grade teacher, 4th grade teacher, and 4th/5th grade Advanced and Enriched Curriculum (AEC) teacher. She also served as a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) coach. Mrs. Rodriguez earned her M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University and her B.S. in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University. She also holds the Illinois Principal Endorsement.


This appointment comes after the retirement announcement of current Principal Linda Schweikhofer. District 41 thanks Mrs. Schweikhofer for her 18 years of service in District 41.
