Wildcat Weekly
Vol. 21 Issue #5 August 23-27
Week one is in the books!
We had a great first week at TMHS! It was beyond exciting to have our students back in the building, meeting teachers, reuniting with friends, and jumping into their clubs and activities!
As we get rolling with our new school year, the Wildcat Weekly will be one of your main sources for news, information, updates, and links. Please be sure to take the time to browse through it each weekend in preparation for the upcoming week. This week, you'll notice several reminders for our students and campus-wide expectations for items like attendance, dress code, and parking.

UPDATE: Student Dress Code
As we progressed through the first week of school, students did a much better job of following district dress code. Our major areas of concern continue to be the areas listed below. Please be sure to reiterate with your students the importance of remaining in dress code while at school.
Areas of concern:
- All students must wear clothing that adequately covers the body. Shorts and/or skirts must reach the mid-thigh. Spaghetti straps, strapless, backless, see-through and low-cut tops are not allowed. Tops must cover the midriff.
- All male students must be clean-shaven and may not display any piercings including the ear.
- Students are not allowed to wear hats, bandanas, or other head coverings.
- Student hair must be that of natural color. Students that need to address this particular portion can meet with their Assistant Principal to discuss a solution and timeline.
All dress code policies can be found in the TISD Student Handbook linked HERE.

UPDATED: Parent and Student Return to School Handbook - A message from TISD
Tomball ISD Families,
As we approach the 2021-2022 school year, Tomball ISD continues to monitor local and state health guidance and with that, the district has made a few modifications to its Return to School Parent and Student Handbook that was originally sent out last week.
Modifications made can be found in these sections of the handbook:
- Isolation and Readmission Criteria for a Positive Lab-Confirmed COVID-19 Student
- Isolation and Readmission Criteria for a Symptomatic Student
- COVID Dashboard & Notifications
- Rapid COVID testing
You can also find the revised handbook here: FALL 2021 Return to School Handbook_Parents & Students.pdf
As always, every decision being made considers the health and safety of our students and staff as a top priority. We encourage you to read through this handbook once again as it may answer any questions or address any concerns you have as we move forward with this school year.
We greatly appreciate your patience and your understanding of these guidelines and look forward to welcoming our students back to school on August 17!
