What is it?

It is a 156-year-old tropical garden located at the fringe of the Singaporean's main shopping belt. It is one of three gardens ,and the only tropical garden to be honored as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

What can visitors see/do/experience at the site?

1st activity: Go on a Walking Trail of the Gardens

Information: There is not much to explore and see in the Singapore Botanics Gardens. We have a range of walking trail guides that you can refer to if your wish to explore the Gardens. With walking trails that range from 40-90 minutes in duration, there should be on that suits your needs. These trail guides can be accessed through your smartphone or tablet.

2nd activity: High-rise Edible Gardening made Easy( A Gardening Workhop)

Information: This workhop will introduce participants to the aspects of cultivating edible plants at high-rise apartments, including the challenges suh as lack of space and poor light conditions. Participants will also get to learn how to grow their edible plants using a soil free approach as well as innovative ways of propagatting nd displaying their edible plants.
