STOP THE ABUSE!
Abuse doesn't take a holiday, and we can't either.
Abuse happens everywhere
You see abuse happening everywhere. A mom yelling and screaming towards her kid, trying to scold him/her, is abuse. A nurse neglecting to take care of his or her patients is abuse. Noticing it's wrong is alright. It's okay. After all, its one step closer to helping them. But it's only one step. You have to take another step to help them to really make a difference. Don't be a bystander. If you see something wrong happening, speak up! Just a "Stop it!" can make a huge difference.
A report of child abuse is made every ten seconds
Verbal abuse can be worse than physical abuse.
58.5% of all elderly in hospitals and nursing homes experience neglect.
