Assumptions, Agreements, Arguments, Aspirations--Let's Go!
Being mindful of our own beliefs goes a long, long way for increasing students’ self-efficacy. Tonight we are going to reflect on our own assumptions and general thoughts that shape our views on creating optimal learning environments.
Questions to fire us UP during the chat and spark after chat action step:
Q1: What role do educators’ assumptions play in implementing UDL?
Q2: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement and WHY? “UDL is NOT one more thing—it is thee thing that anchors, blends, and naturally allows every learner to experience an education of freedom.”
Q3: Get ready to Argue! What would you say to a colleague who says: “I am already doing UDL—and—what I am doing has worked for years—and it’s still working.”
Q4: What are some of your aspirations as you continue to live and expand a UDL mindset #UDL4Justice?
