Library

There have been lots of exciting changes to how the library is organized in the last few months. I encourage all students to come in and check it out. I hope it will make it easier for students to find books they are interested in.

Also, as a reminder, books are checked out for three weeks at a time. When books reach 45 days or more overdue, an invoice will automatically be generated in MySchoolBucks. However, if the overdue books are returned to the library, the invoice does NOT need to be paid and will be cleared from the student’s account. There are no fines or fees for books returned late, only for lost or damaged books. Students can check if they have any library books checked out in Classlink, the Library Resources folder, then Follett Destiny Discover. Click on “My Stuff” at the top and then “Checkouts”.

Military connected students have an opportunity to have FREE online tutoring, 1 on 1 with a teaching professional. Encourage your military connected students to use Tutor.com. Non military fees are $60 an hour. It is a unique benefit for the military connected students. They can also receive study skills and organization skills. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Barber, Military Student Specialist at tbarber@scuc.txed.net.
