Celebrating Our 4th Graders & Mrs. Morris's Class!

Hooray for Mrs. Morris's third grade class! All students in her class raised their SRI score from winter to spring. If you see Mrs. Morris, her students, Mrs. Martin or Mrs. Klinkenberg, pat them on the back for their hard work!

Speaking of hard work, ALL 4th grade students scored above the 10th percentile on their Spring AIMSWeb RCBM assessment which means....NO students in the red on their Rainbow Report! More pats on the back for 4th grade, Mrs. Garrison, Mrs. King & Mrs. Martin!

Do YOU have a celebration to share or would you like to brag on a student or adult? Click here to share the happiness!

Family Barbecue, Friday, April 29, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Join us for our annual Shull Family Barbecue this Friday night, April 29, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Shull. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips & drinks are free for our staff and students' entire families and there will be games for all ages and bounce houses for youngsters as well. The festivities will take place in the back (north) parking lot (if inclement weather occurs, activities will be moved indoors). Bring your lawn chairs!

We need YOUR help! We still need a few volunteers to help run game stations and clean up.

Grade Level Inventories are Due May 9

I recently shared grade level, RI and TA inventory spreadsheets on Drive. Grade level teams should be working together to complete the inventory pages electronically. Remember that accuracy is critical, especially since we have teachers moving grade levels.

Inventories should be completed electronically by the end of the day May 9.

As we plan for a solid start to next school year and focus on implementing building wide processes and procedures that will lead us to become 100% proficient, we will focus on five critical areas:

  5. Feedback to Teams

We will discuss these focus areas in depth during our next staff meeting, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 7:45 a.m. in the Library Media Center. (fill your plate with yummy breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the lounge first!) Mark your calendar!

Spring Assessment Window April 25-May 6

Our 3rd & 4th grade students will join students across the state of Missouri as they complete the Missouri Assessment Program summative assessment over the course of the next two weeks.

Thank you for making sure your students are exceptionally quiet in the hallways during ALL times of the day as we have students testing in several classrooms throughout the entire building. Thank you also for providing notes of support and words of encouragement to our 3rd & 4th grade students AND their teachers!!
