Ride Through The Decades - Volunteers
Spring Break is here - and that means that we are getting SO CLOSE to our Spring Ride Through The Decades Carnival Event! If you or a very capable teenager you know is interested in volunteering, we are looking for help with Registration, Event Set-Up, Tear-Dwn, Carnival Game Supervision and Community Sponsorship Outreach. If you are interested please reach out to Krystal Eicher at keicher34@gmail.com or sign up here and we will be in touch!

Ride's annual Field Day is quickly approaching. Field Day will occur outdoors in the morning. Your child should wear tennis shoes, apply sunscreen, and bring a labeled water bottle.
Each student will be paired with a “buddy.” The buddies will work together to complete various cooperative, competitive, and active events. Students are free to rotate to the events of their choice.
In order for Field Day to be successful, we need your help. Due to the high number of activities, sixty volunteers will be needed to assist us with running the events for the entire school. No spectators please! If you are committed to helping, please sign up online at https://tinyurl.com/RideFieldDay . Further volunteer information will be communicated via email, including event descriptions, recommended supplies, volunteer check-in procedures, and other pertinent details.
Thank you, Bridget Hodge and Laura Matthews

What We're Learning
SCIENCE
Scholastic Book Fair
During the week, the Book Fair is open from 7:30 – 3:00.
We have a great digital payment option that is highly encouraged for students to use. Parents can set up an eWallet for students, deposit money into it, and students will not have to bring money to school. Visit our Book Fair homepage at
https://www.scholastic.com/bf/sallykrideelementaryschool1
to open up an eWallet account for your child. Any left over money in the eWallet will be put on a gift card for your student to use at future fairs or online. If you have money left over from the last book fair, you can sign in to your e-wallet and transfer the money to this book fair. Students can also bring cash or check during the week to purchase books!
Profits from the Book Fair will be used to purchase books for our school library!
