MINGGU MESRA KAMPUS Sept'14
It’s the time of the year where we spend time spreading the joy and happiness of AIESEC to the UTPians. Yes! It's Minggu Mesra Kampus (MMK)!
Held from 13 October to 15 October at Pocket D, the primary aim of our MMK AIESEC booth was to promote Choose2Protect University Workshop and Global Citizen Program. After a series of intense preparation, every member was motivated and showed their commitment towards this event. The cheerful spirit of AIESECers had definitely influenced the externals to engage with us and we had achieved a reasonable results in the end of MMK. Not just only fun and joy, we gained valuable experiences which are exclusive to AIESECers!
Choose2Protect University Workshop
Held on 15 October, Choose2Protect University Workshop was a great success. It was an interactive and fun learning process indeed with representatives from Women's Aid Organization and Federation of Reproductive Health Association Malaysia (FRHAM).
The students and the guests had an amazing time discussing about Sexually Transmitted Infections. A lot of deep questions were asked by the students to the guests and were openly answered by the guests to make those unclear doubt to fade off.
Special thanks to Durex, Women Aid Organization, Federation of Reproductive Health Association Malaysia and AIESEC for making such an amazing workshop to happen!
FRIGHT OR FLIGHT
Held on 15 October 2014 (Wednesday) in Pocket D4, Fright or Flight is a wild Global Citizen Program info session. Based on Halloween theme, the whole venue was decorated with pumpkins and other spooky items. Guess what? We had a witch and a mummy in the house too!
The aim of the event is to gather and share detailed information to those who are interested in Global Citizen Program. There were around 55 attendees during the event. There was an info sharing session by our Vice President of Project Management term 14/15, Ratana in open, explanation of basic needs for the exchange. Other than that, EP sharings by the past exchange participants had boosted the interest of the attendees even more!
Fright or Flight is not just merely a surprise to the externals, but also to our dearly Daryl Luke, the Vice President of Outgoing Exchange term 14/15! (If you know what I mean..)
Local Leadership Development Seminar
Some team building games were conducted where the delegates were able to apply what they have learned and in the same time, strengthened the bonding between one another throughout the program. Besides that, new system GIS was explained in details to all the delegates and a stimuli game also was conducted based GIS system.
LLDS was definitely an amazing and unforgettable experience for every AIESECer!
