How long have you been at BBI? 26 years in MISD
Where are you from and where did you grow up? Born in McAllen, Texas, Grew up and graduated in Montgomery, TX
What inspired you to work with children? Since I was a young child I would pretend to teach. I would set my stuffed animals up and teach them a lesson. I loved anything that had to do with school and being around children.
What is your favorite book? Polar Express
What was your favorite subject in school? Math
If you could learn to do one thing, what would it be? Scuba dive or fly an airplane
If you could have any other career, what would it be? Pilot
Who do you consider your hero? Police officers and firefighters who put their lives on the line every day to help people.
People would be surprised to know… I love to scrapbook. I attend weekend retreats several times a year and will scrapbook around 100 pages in my albums.

22 student art pieces from each grade level will be selected to participate in the Magnolia ISD District Art Show in January.

How long have you been at BBI? This is my first year!
Where are you from and where did you grow up? Born in Houston and grew up in Aldine
What inspired you to work with children? Volunteering at my kids school and seeing and witnessing the connections teachers and staff have with the students.
What is your favorite book? Two by Two
What was your favorite subject in school? Science
If you could learn to one thing, what would it be? Fly a plane
If you could have any other career, what would it be? I would have to say a large animal veterinarian. ( Cattle, horses, pigs, goats) All of the farm animals.
Who do you consider your hero? Hands down my Aunt Christy. She has dealt with so many tough situations in her life and she has always kept her head up and stayed positive.
People would be surprised to know…Grew up showing livestock. But my most favorite to show was pigs!

BBIS General Information
Early morning child care begins at 6:30 a.m. and all students must be enrolled online through the MISD website.
The first bell rings at 7:55 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 8:00 a.m. The instructional day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:10 p.m.
