Principal's Message
On Monday, September 21st, Ashbrook Elementary School reopened its doors to students for the first time since the 2018 school year. The building has had several updates including new bathrooms in Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms, new flooring, and new roof. The last six months have been unlike anything any of us have seen in our lifetimes, and welcoming our students back felt like an important first step to returning to our pre-COVID lives. School looks a little bit different with social distancing and masks, but learning and relationship building is still happening. In our classrooms (both online and in person), we are getting to know our students and meeting them where they are for their learning. We are all doing the best we can in this challenging time and I look forward to continued collaboration toward providing the best educational experience we can for our children.
Week of Respect
The Week of Respect kicks off on Monday October 5th. Mrs. Pease has planned spirit days for your child's participation.
Monday: Let respect shine by wearing your brightest neon or sparkly outfit.
Tuesday: Respect and embrace our differences by wearing mismatched clothing.
Wednesday: Today is about self-respect; we do this by exercising, eating nutritious food, learning coping skills, and managing stress. Wear your athletic gear today.
Thursday: Be a team player and wear your favorite sports team shirt.
Friday: Wear school colors to celebrate our community. Remember you are a STAR.
